I recently began a new position as Visiting Lecturer in the French and Francophone Department at Connecticut College.
Previously, I completed my PhD from the Department of Comparative Thought and Literature at Johns Hopkins University. I defended my doctoral dissertation, “The Adventure of the Book: Jabès, Derrida, Levinas” in the spring of 2021.
Following the publication of A Touch of Doubt: On Haptic Scepticism, I recently participated in a round-table discussion on the philosophical question of “haptic skepticism” in light of the COVID-19 pandemic: Suspending Touch: Haptic Skepticism for Life During a Pandemic, Institute for Cultural Inquiry, Berlin, May 2021
In fall 2020, my translation of Marc Crépon’s book Murderous Consent was awarded the Translation Prize of the French-American Society.
